Job summary

ILO Construction, Inc is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of warehouse and industrial construction projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with plans, specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules, materials, subcontractors, and site resources, and coordinate with clients and consultants to resolve issues and drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer, Architect, or related professional qualification.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, preferably warehouse/industrial facilities.
• Minimum 5 years in construction/operations/project management or senior supervisory roles.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and large-scale projects.
• Strong background in scheduling, budgeting, procurement, cost control, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, MEPF drawings.
• Strong leadership and coordination/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall construction operations of warehouse and industrial projects from pre-construction through project completion.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site resources.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure work progresses according to approved plans and schedules.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Ensure proper coordination of civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and other building works.
• Monitor warehouse-specific construction works, including foundations, structural steel, roofing, flooring, loading bays, dock areas, drainage, utilities, and site development.
• Manage subcontractor performance and resolve construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and company policies.

About the role

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• Must be alicensed Civil Engineer, Architect, or hold a related/equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, preferably with significant experience in warehouse or industrial facility construction
• Minimum 5 years in a construction management, operations management, project management, or senior supervisory position
• Proven experience handling warehouse, distribution center, logistics facility, manufacturing facility, or other large-scale industrial projects
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and construction teams
• Strong background in construction scheduling, budgeting, procurement, cost control, and site coordination
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, MEPF, and shop drawings
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong leadership and team-management skills with excellent coordination and communication abilities
