The Operations Manager acts as the critical link between executive strategy and field execution, ensuring all active projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule.
Key responsibilities
Supervise multiple active construction sites and engineering projects by providing high-level guidance and problem-solving support to Project Managers and Site Engineers
Resolve critical technical bottlenecks, particularly in specialized scopes like MEPFS installations, structural maintenance, or complex utility tie-ins
Monitor master construction schedules to prevent delays, enforcing rigorous quality control to meet exact client specifications
Strategically deploy manpower, specialized trade crews, and engineering staff across different project sites based on timeline priorities
Optimize the utilization and maintenance routing of corporate assets, including heavy equipment and light commercial fleet vehicles
Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure critical materials arrive on-site precisely when needed to avoid costly work stoppages
Track aggregate project budgets, constantly monitoring Work-in-Progress (WIP) and cost‑to‑compute metrics against baseline estimates
Collaborate with Finance and Admin team to validate field accomplishment reports, expedite progress billings, and approve major subcontractor payments
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective measures to protect project profit margins
Enforce strict compliance with occupational safety protocols, DOLE standards, and PCAB regulatory requirements across all daily operations
