Inovus Building Solutions Inc. is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day construction warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance and dispatch of materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field
  • 3–5 years warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Construction industry experience required
  • Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or equivalents)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and materials management

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, transferring, and dispatching materials.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment to support project requirements.
  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, and preservation of construction materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate closely with Procurement, Project Management, Logistics, and Site Operations regarding material requirements and deliveries.
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Process all warehouse transactions using the company's ERP system.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse personnel to achieve operational objectives.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance, and dispatch of construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. This role requires strong leadership, excellent inventory management skills, and hands‑on experience using an ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy and support project operations.

About you
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Construction industry experience is required.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Odoo, Sage, or equivalent) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and material management.
  • Experience conducting inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and stock audits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
