Job summary

Counterflow Movers, Inc. in Makati, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Brokerage Operations Supervisor to oversee daily customs brokerage activities and ensure timely processing of import/export shipments.

You will coordinate with clients, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and government agencies, ensure compliance with regulations, review documents for accuracy, and monitor shipment statuses while driving service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support daily customs brokerage operations, ensuring the timely processing of import and export shipments.
• Supervise brokerage staff and guide them to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, freight forwarders, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding shipment requirements and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with Bureau of Customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
• Review and verify import/export documents, customs declarations, permits, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare operational reports, performance updates, and management reports as required.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support the Brokerage Manager in achieving departmental goals, service targets, and business objectives.
• Stay updated on customs regulations, tariff updates, and industry developments to ensure regulatory compliance.
