Overview

Here’s the difference you’ll make As a Operations Coordinator - Dispatch Planner, you will be responsible for the planning, assignment, and optimization of trips to ensure cost-efficient and timely delivery of goods. Your role involves on trip allocation, route planning, and resource utilization, considering factors such as cost, distance, and service requirements as well as communicating with couriers, clients, and internal teams to manage schedules, resolve issues, and maintain smooth day-to-day transport operations.

What You’ll Do (your Mission)

• Assign and dispatch trucks based on pickup and delivery schedules and operational requirements
• Monitor truck movements and ensure on-time pick-up and delivery
• Coordinate with courier regarding routes, delays, and special instructions
• Communicate with 2GO customer service for booking confirmations, updates, and follow-ups
• Handle documentation such as trip reports
• Track and report any delivery issues, accidents, or delays

You’ll thrive in this role if you

• At least a High School Graduate (Senior High School preferred)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or trucking operations is an advantage
• Strong understanding of routing and trip planning
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic MS Excel and email
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple schedules
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
