Job summary

Maersk is seeking an senior Operational Excellence leader to drive deployment and governance of OpEx tools across the organization. The role includes coaching leaders, standardizing processes, and partnering with stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.

The incumbent will lead cross-functional initiatives, align with global standards, and leverage digital tools to improve performance and sustainability in global logistics operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Operations, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean in logistics, warehousing, or related industries.
• Proven experience deploying and sustaining Operational Excellence frameworks and performance management systems.
• Experience facilitating improvement initiatives, problem-solving workshops, and cross-functional projects.
• Experience coaching leaders and frontline teams in structured improvement methodologies.
• Exposure to logistics, warehousing, transportation, or integrated supply chain operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment, adoption, and governance of OpEx tools and methodologies across the assigned business scope.
• Lead the implementation, localization, and governance of the Operating System with alignment to global standards.
• Coach leaders and frontline teams on OpEx principles, standard work, and performance management practices.
• Program manage improvement initiatives to ensure actions are delivered and benefits realized.
• Identify OpEx capability gaps and develop targeted interventions to build skills and maturity.
• Partner with business leaders to embed a culture of OpEx, accountability, and data-driven decisions.
• Monitor adoption, compliance, and effectiveness of OpEx tools and governance, with corrective actions as needed.
• Leverage technology, analytics, and digital tools to enhance OpEx deployment and outcomes.
