Boss Cargo Express Freight Services Inc. Cebu is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the Cebu branch’s daily logistics, oversee frontline staff, and ensure timely pickup, sorting, and delivery of shipments.

Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cebu branch.
Ensure the timely and efficient execution of pick-up, receiving, sorting, dispatching, delivery, and other operational activities.
Assign and distribute daily workloads to drivers, helpers, custodians, and other operations personnel.
Monitor shipment movement, pending transactions, delivery status, and operational exceptions.
Ensure all operational transactions are properly encoded and updated in the company's systems.
Ensure the proper and consistent utilization of CERRO V5 and other operational tools.
Monitor vehicle, equipment, and other operational resources to ensure availability and proper utilization.
Ensure that shipments are properly handled, secured, documented, and accounted for throughout the operational process.
Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the Cebu Operations team.
Provide clear instructions and expectations to team members.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, performance, and compliance with company policies.
Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions to address performance and behavioral concerns.
Identify employee skill and performance gaps and recommend appropriate training or development interventions.
Foster teamwork, discipline, accountability, and a customer-focused culture.
Serve as a role model of Boss Cargo Express' values and standards.
Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, delivery performance, and service quality.
Ensure that daily operational targets and service standards are achieved.
Identify delays, bottlenecks, recurring problems, and other operational issues.
Take immediate corrective action within the scope of authority and **escalate** critical concerns to the Assistant Operations Manager or Operations Manager.
Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Monitor manpower utilization and recommend adjustments based on operational requirements.
Support initiatives focused on improving productivity, efficiency, service quality, and cost management.
Coordinate with Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Head Office, and other departments regarding operational requirements and concerns.
Assist in resolving delivery issues, shipment exceptions, customer complaints, and other operational concerns.
Ensure timely updates and proper communication regarding delayed, pending, or problematic shipments.
Support Sales and Customer Experience teams in addressing customer requirements and service commitments.
Maintain professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, drivers, and other external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Monitor the proper implementation of workplace safety and security practices.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of accidents, incidents, shipment damages, losses, and other irregularities.
Ensure proper accountability and handling of company assets, equipment, vehicles, and shipment-related resources.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and productive operational workplace.
Immediately report significant operational, safety, security, or compliance concerns to management.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, or related operations.
Preferably with at least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong understanding of logistics, delivery, and branch operations.
Experience in supervising frontline employees and managing daily operational activities.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and coordination skills.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Able to work under pressure and handle multiple operational priorities.
Willing to work in a fast‑paced logistics environment and extend working hours when operational requirements demand it.
