Job summary

Boss Cargo Express Freight Services Inc. Cebu is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the Cebu branch’s daily logistics, oversee frontline staff, and ensure timely pickup, sorting, and delivery of shipments.

You’ll monitor KPIs, optimize processes, and coordinate with Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, and Head Office to uphold service commitments. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2–3 years in logistics, and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, or related operations.
• Preferably with at least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics, delivery, and branch operations.
• Experience in supervising frontline employees and managing daily operational activities.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and coordination skills.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple operational priorities.
• Willing to work in a fast‑paced logistics environment and extend working hours when operational requirements demand it.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cebu branch.
• Ensure the timely and efficient execution of pick-up, receiving, sorting, dispatching, delivery, and other operational activities.
• Assign and distribute daily workloads to drivers, helpers, custodians, and other operations personnel.
• Monitor shipment movement, pending transactions, delivery status, and operational exceptions.
• Ensure all operational transactions are properly encoded and updated in the company's systems.
• Ensure the proper and consistent utilization of CERRO V5 and other operational tools.
• Monitor vehicle, equipment, and other operational resources to ensure availability and proper utilization.
• Ensure that shipments are properly handled, secured, documented, and accounted for throughout the operational process.
