About the role
As an HR Supervisor at Boss Cargo Express, you will supervise and oversee day-to-day HR operations while shaping people strategies, strengthening HR processes, and supporting the organization's continued growth. You will work across different areas of Human Resources, including HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Training & Development.
What You’ll Do
HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Supervise and oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure timely delivery of HR services.
- Handle employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues with professionalism and fairness.
- Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, and company practices.
- Ensure consistent implementation and proper documentation of HR policies and processes.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee and monitor compensation, payroll inputs, employee benefits, and other C&B-related processes.
- Ensure timely processing and monitoring of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, leaves, overtime, deductions, and other statutory requirements.
- Review payroll-related reports and identify discrepancies or process gaps.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR reports.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable Philippine labor standards and government regulations.
Recruitment & Staffing
- Supervise recruitment activities and ensure timely fulfillment of manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs and priorities.
- Monitor recruitment pipelines, hiring progress, onboarding, and manpower deployment.
- Support the development and implementation of effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and recommend improvements to reduce hiring turnaround time and attrition.
Training & Development
- Assist in identifying organizational and employee training needs.
- Coordinate and monitor training programs, orientations, and employee development initiatives.
- Monitor training attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate training and development records.
- Support employee engagement and talent development programs.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Preferably 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with supervisory or leadership exposure
- Experience in HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and training & development
- Knowledgeable in Philippine labor standards and government-mandated benefits
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with different teams
- Willing to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
