Boss Cargo Express Freight Services Inc. in Cebu is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to lead the Cebu branch, optimize logistics, and drive process improvements.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with Manila Head Office, and ensure service standards are met. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in logistics or related operations, with 1–2 years in supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, or related operations.
• Preferably 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and delivery operations.
• Experience managing people, schedules, operational performance, and day-to-day branch activities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic logistics environment.
• Willing to work beyond regular hours when operational requirements demand it.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and overseeing day-to-day operations of the Cebu branch.
• Ensure efficient and timely execution of pick-up, delivery, receiving, dispatching, sorting, and other operational activities.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Coordinate between Cebu Operations, Manila Head Office, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, and other departments.
• Monitor shipment movement, delivery performance, pending transactions, and operational concerns.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper encoding, updating, and monitoring of operational transactions in the systems.
• Monitor implementation and use of CERRO V5 and other operational tools.
• Assist in managing manpower, work schedules, workload distribution, and requirements.
• Ensure assets are properly utilized and maintained.
