Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Checking production sheet and checking at least 1 month compilation complete.
  • Check for on hand items, proper labelling and quantity record wastages or spoilages
  • Checking and coaching of cooking procedures of all prepared items
  • Validate receiving of deliveries, ensuring that products specifications and quantities are met
  • Double checking of all station set up/par up to ensure success of the days’ operation through line check
  • A proper line check ensures that the food quality is up to specifications, the food is being rotated, and that any portioned items are of the proper weight.
  • Maintaining ticket times are the responsibility of the person working Window.
  • Attends and conducts Shift Meeting for updates regarding training, new organizational communication/information and other restaurant operations concern Middle person during lunch/dinner time.
  • Ensures quality check of all items, taste, plating /presentation. garnish, and temperature
  • When performing a proper line check it is important that you taste, touch, smell and weigh all products.
  • Maintains high standards of food quality to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • You must validate food according to taste profile, appearance, texture, and temperature.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM), Culinary Arts, Business Management, or a related field is often preferred. A vocational diploma or short course certificate in Food & Beverage Services Management or Commercial Cookery (such as a TESDA NC II qualification) is a plus/advantage
  • With Food Safety Certificate - Knowledge in Food Safety Standard and Hygiene
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as Kitchen Officer
  • Excellent in Verbal and Written Communication skills
  • Strong skills in inventory management, cost control, menu planning, budgeting, and financial reporting are required to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • The ability to lead, train, motivate, and manage a diverse kitchen team effectively is crucial.
  • The capacity to quickly address issues and make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work long, flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and perform physical tasks like standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Willing to do roving schedule at Mall of Asia Pasay, Podium Pasig and Bonifacio High Street Taguig.
