Job summary

PM Consulting in Makati City seeks a Solar Sales Engineer to drive sales and business development of solar energy solutions. You will combine technical expertise with strong client-facing and commercial skills to understand energy needs, perform site assessments, and develop suitable solar system proposals.

You will prepare technical and financial proposals, size systems, estimate returns, and support the sales process from consultation to handover.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience in solar energy or renewable energy solutions is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Experience in technical sales, solution selling, business development, or project sales is highly preferred.
Ability to interpret electrical plans, site requirements, and energy data.

Responsibilities

Understand clients’ energy consumption, operational requirements, and sustainability objectives to recommend solar solutions.
Conduct site evaluations to determine feasibility of solar PV installations.
Provide technical recommendations covering panels, inverters, storage, mounting systems, and related components.
Explain system design, energy generation, savings, and payback to clients.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals including system sizing and project costing.
Calculate energy production, electricity savings, and returns.
Monitor market developments and keep informed about relevant regulations and incentives.
