Our Clients is seeking a Solar Sales Engineer based in Makati City, onsite. You will drive sales and business development for solar energy solutions, combining technical expertise with client-facing and commercial skills, from initial consultation to project handover.
You will assess energy requirements, propose PV systems, inverters and storage, prepare proposals, and build relationships across residential to industrial markets.

The Solar Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving the sales and business development of solar energy solutions by combining technical expertise with strong client-facing and commercial skills. The role involves understanding customer energy requirements, conducting site assessments, developing suitable solar system solutions, preparing technical and financial proposals, and supporting the sales process from initial consultation through project handover.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clients and have a strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, energy storage, net metering, and other renewable energy solutions.
Understand clients’ energy consumption, operational requirements, and sustainability objectives to recommend appropriate solar solutions.
Conduct initial technical assessments and site evaluations to determine the feasibility of solar PV installations.
Provide technical recommendations covering solar panels, inverters, battery energy storage systems, mounting systems, and related components.
Explain system design, expected energy generation, savings, payback period, and other technical considerations to prospective clients.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and/or industrial markets.
Generate leads through direct prospecting, referrals, networking, partnerships, and other business development activities.
Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, technical consultations, and solution discussions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for solar projects.
Develop system sizing, equipment specifications, project costing, and estimated return on investment.
Prepare quotations based on project scope, equipment requirements, installation requirements, and other associated costs.
Calculate estimated energy production, electricity savings, payback period, and potential project returns.
Monitor developments in the solar energy and renewable energy market.
Stay updated on solar PV technologies, inverters, battery storage, energy management systems, and other relevant products.
Keep informed about relevant industry standards, government programs, incentives, and regulations affecting solar projects.
Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, technologies, and market trends.
