Job summary
Our Clients is seeking a Solar Sales Engineer based in Makati City, onsite. You will drive sales and business development for solar energy solutions, combining technical expertise with client-facing and commercial skills, from initial consultation to project handover.
You will assess energy requirements, propose PV systems, inverters and storage, prepare proposals, and build relationships across residential to industrial markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in solar energy or renewable energy preferred.
- Experience in technical sales or business development preferred.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and components.
- Ability to interpret electrical plans and energy data.
Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ energy consumption, requirements, and sustainability objectives to recommend solar solutions.
- Conduct site evaluations to determine feasibility of solar PV installations.
- Provide technical recommendations covering panels, inverters, storage, mounting, and components.
- Explain design, energy generation, savings, and payback to clients.
- Identify new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- Generate leads through direct prospecting, referrals, partnerships, and networking.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for solar projects.
- Develop system sizing, equipment specs, project costing, and ROI estimates.
- Monitor developments in solar energy and related regulations affecting projects.
