Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our Batangas-based team. You will provide hands-on IT support for end users, resolve tickets, and maintain desktops, laptops, and devices in a manufacturing environment.

You will install and test operating systems and applications, collaborate with the Helpdesk, and report on service metrics. On-site work in Tanauan City, Batangas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in desktop support, IT service desk, technical support, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, operating systems, applications, and common end-user IT issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with end users and technical teams.
• A proactive, service-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to work on-site in Tanauan City, Batangas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and promptly resolve assigned service tickets.
• Install, test, configure, and upgrade approved operating systems and applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving desktops, notebooks, tablets, and other supported devices, subject to applicable warranties and service agreements.
• Work directly with end users to understand technical concerns and provide timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with the Helpdesk and other resolver groups when issues require additional technical expertise.
• Monitor assigned tickets and ensure issues are properly managed through resolution.
• Prepare and submit required daily, weekly, and monthly status reports, including reports related to weekend support activities.
• Participate in relevant Helpdesk and support meetings.
• Follow all applicable client policies, procedures, security requirements, and operational standards.
