ConnectOS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to handle end-to-end payroll processes, with a focus on Australian payroll compliance and large volumes. You will validate data, manage onboarding/offboarding, and resolve payroll queries through Zendesk while ensuring accurate deductions and benefits.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with payroll systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience, preferably in an Australian payroll environment.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, and employment conditions.
• Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• ADP PayGlobal experience advantageous.
• Comfortable supporting a high-volume payroll environment.
• Comfortable with repetitive and deadline-driven payroll processing.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn, take accountability, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Handle payroll administration and manual payroll processing tasks.
• Prepare, validate, and upload payroll data into the payroll system.
• Review employee leave, timesheets, and payroll exceptions to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining payroll records.
• Process payroll in compliance with Australian legislation, Modern Awards, and employment contracts.
• Manage superannuation, deductions, contributions, and employee benefits.
• Respond to payroll queries through Zendesk using approved processes and templates.
• Support payroll reporting, data analysis, and process improvements.
• Work closely with the Payroll Lead and progressively take ownership of assigned payroll portfolios.
