Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processes, validation, and data uploads, ensuring compliance with Australian laws and contracts. You will handle leave reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and respond to payroll queries while collaborating with the Payroll Lead.

The role requires experience in Australian payroll environments, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Onsite work in Metro Manila with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience, preferably in an Australian payroll environment.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, and employment conditions.
• Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable supporting a high-volume payroll environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll administration and manual payroll processing tasks.
• Prepare, validate, and upload payroll data into the payroll system.
• Review employee leave, timesheets, and payroll exceptions to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining payroll records.
• Process payroll in compliance with Australian legislation, Modern Awards, and employment contracts.
• Manage superannuation, deductions, contributions, and employee benefits.
• Respond to payroll queries through Zendesk using approved processes and templates.
• Support payroll reporting, data analysis, and process improvements.
• Work closely with the Payroll Lead and progressively take ownership of assigned payroll portfolios.
