ConnectOS is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing on a weekly or fortnightly basis, ensuring accurate payments and compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax. You will maintain employee records and respond to payroll queries, with year-end reporting and close collaboration with the Senior Accounts & Payroll Officer.

The role requires proven payroll officer experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a payroll officer or similar role.
• Experience with Pronto or similar payroll systems.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll requirements (PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax).
• Excellent Excel skills and payroll database familiarity.
• Demonstrated confidentiality and ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing weekly or fortnightly.
• Ensure payroll compliance (PAYG withholding, superannuation, payroll tax, deductions).
• Maintain records of employee details and payroll transactions.
• Respond to payroll queries via email inbox.
• Prepare year-end payroll reporting and submissions.
• Collaborate with Senior Accounts & Payroll Officer and support payroll operations.
