Smartsourcing is hiring a full-time, onsite Accounting Assistant based in Cebu City, Philippines. The role involves foundational finance work across accounts payable, payroll, banking, and reconciliations, including uploading invoices to Xero and preparing weekly reports.

The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, and confidentiality-minded, able to follow procedures, escalate unclear items, and grow their skills with hands-on finance work.

Qualifications

• Entry-level or early-career accounting experience is acceptable.
• Experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, banking reports or reconciliations is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Upload vendor invoices to Xero and maintain accounts payable records.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing, checks, and related records.
• Support banking and credit card reconciliation activities and reporting.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, creditors, clients, and teammates.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow established finance procedures.
