Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on experience in payroll and AP, proficiency with accounting software, and strong organizational skills to ensure timely, precise financial records and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Over 1 year of payroll, accounts payable, and disbursement experience with government agencies.
• Familiar with PEZA and BIR transactions; knowledge of local labor laws and taxes.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision; strong organizational and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration – ensure accurate wages, deductions, and government contributions.
• Accounts payable management – invoice verification, PO reconciliation, and vendor file upkeep.
• Cash disbursements – timely vendor payments via checks or bank transfers with proper documentation.
• General financial support – assist with journal entries and month/year-end closings; support audits.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all financial tasks.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
