Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Lead Technician for Building Electrical Maintenance in Cebu, Philippines. This on-site role involves leading a team of technicians, performing hands-on electrical maintenance, and ensuring reliability and safety across facilities.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, diagnose complex electrical issues, and coordinate with contractors to execute upgrades while maintaining compliance with safety standards and codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an electrical apprenticeship or technical training.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in commercial building electrical maintenance with at least 2 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent local certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities of electrical maintenance technicians with hands-on mentorship.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing of electrical systems (switchgear, transformers, panels, gensets, UPS, lighting).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical failures using testing equipment and schematics.
• Ensure work complies with NEC, OSHA, and QA protocols; manage safety dismissals and permits.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for repairs and upgrades; manage budgets and schedules.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records of activities, inventories, and inspections.
• Respond to after-hours electrical issues as part of on-call rotation.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks; promote safe working practices.
• Identify energy efficiency opportunities to reduce operating costs.
