Job summary

X-GEN GROUP ELECTRONICS CORP. is seeking Event Assistants to support the on-site execution of our Manila 2-Court Sports Event. You will help with venue setup, participant and audience management, equipment handling, schedule coordination, and general event operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with court setup/breakdown, guiding participants, coordinating with referees and staff, and ensuring materials are prepared and returned efficiently. Full event-day availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous event, sports, operations, or on-site coordination experience is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle repetitive operational tasks efficiently.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Able to work effectively with security, medics, referees, Barangay Coordinators, and other event personnel.
• Must be available for the full event day, including setup and breakdown.
• Willing to perform hands-on on-site operational work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with court setup and breakdown, including venue layout, signage, seating, equipment placement, and post-event cleanup.
• Guide participants and audiences during registration, seating, queuing, and event activities.
• Assist referees, table officials, photographers, and other event staff with on-site coordination.
• Receive, distribute, organize, and return event materials and equipment.
• Monitor the event schedule and remind relevant teams about upcoming sessions and activities.
• Help coordinate between different working groups to prevent delays.
• Work closely with the Barangay Coordinator to support temporary on-site adjustments and emergency situations.
• Perform other reasonable on-site event support duties as assigned.
