Job summary

ASIAPRO MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE is seeking an Accounting Associate to support daily accounting activities, documentation, and financial record management. The role requires handling AP/AR, billing, bank reconciliation, and attention to BIR requirements.

The position is on-site in a project-based 5-month engagement with potential for extension based on performance. Relevant degree and basic accounting software knowledge are preferred, with CPA a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and bank reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of BIR requirements and accounting documentation.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and accounting software knowledge.
• Willing to work onsite.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities and documentation.
• Handle and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Assist with billing and payment processing.
• Perform bank reconciliation and verify accounting records.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and organize accounting files and records.
• Assist with BIR-related requirements and accounting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding accounting-related concerns.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
