Wellcare Clinics & Lab,. Philippines is seeking a Company Physician to deliver comprehensive medical care, routine occupational health assessments, and emergency coverage within the workplace.

The role requires an MD, PRC license, BLS/First Aid, and at least 3 years in clinical or corporate healthcare; responsibilities include program development, records, and collaboration with HR/EHS to promote employee wellness.

Qualifications

• MD graduate with valid PRC license.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical or corporate healthcare experience.
• BCOM (Basic Course in Occupational Medicine) certification.
• Current BLS and First Aid training certificates.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret Annual Physical Exams and pre-employment medical exams.
• Provide daily outpatient consultations for employees.
• Deliver emergency medical care and refer critical cases as needed.
• Monitor patients within the clinic/observation area.
• Review medical certificates for sick leave and Magna Carta claims.
• Maintain medical records and submit annual reports (DOLE/BWC/OH-47).
• Coordinate with HR and EHS teams, including line inspections.
• Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs.
• Conduct home visits for employees on extended sick leave.

Job description

The Company Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, conducting employee health assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting workplace wellness. The role supports organizational health through clinical services, preventive care programs, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Conduct and interpret Annual Physical Exams (APE), pre-employment medical exams, and rapid diagnostic tests (RDT)

Provide daily outpatient consultations for employees

Deliver emergency medical care and refer critical cases as needed

Monitor patients within the clinic/observation area

Review medical certificates for employees on sick leave and evaluate Magna Carta claims

Maintain accurate medical records and submit annual reports (DOLE/BWC/OH-47)

Coordinate with HR and EHS teams, including line inspections

Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs

Conduct home visits for employees on extended sick leave

About you

Doctor of Medicine (MD) graduate

Licensed Physician with valid/updated PRC license

At least 3 years of clinical or corporate healthcare experience

BCOM (Basic Course in Occupational Medicine) certification

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid Training certificates

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment abilities
