Job summary

Jobtailor in Manila, Philippines, seeks a licensed physician specializing in occupational health to lead employee health programs and medical reviews.

You will assess health-related concerns, provide PEME/APE/ECU guidance, and coordinate with HSE and site leadership to drive wellbeing initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Valid medical license to practice in the Philippines.
• Completed Basic Course in Occupational Medicine (PCOM).
• 2–3 years of proven clinical experience in an industrial environment.
• Specialization in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, or related field preferred.
• Experience in policy development, process optimization, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Philippine health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience managing mental health cases and wellness initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive case reviews for employees, recommending restrictions or accommodations as necessary
• Provide guidance for PEME, APE, and ECU results
• Address health-related concerns, including work-related illnesses and injuries
• Lead medical emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity programs
• Maintain and assess site Health Systems capabilities
• Collaborate with HSE teams on medical case investigations
• Oversеe medical processes to ensure compliance with laws and corporate governance
• Collaborate with site leadership to drive health and wellbeing programs
• Regularly update leadership on Health Systems Key Elements performance
• Maintain an active medical license and expertise in Occupational Health

• Provide guidance for complex pre-employment medical exams (PEME), annual physical exams (APE), and executive check-up (ECU) results
• Address health-related concerns, including work-related illnesses and injuries
• Lead medical emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity programs
• Maintain and assess site Health Systems capabilities
• Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams on significant medical case investigations
• Oversee medical processes to ensure compliance with laws and corporate governance
• Collaborate with site leadership to drive impactful health and wellbeing programs
• Regularly update business leaders on Health Systems Key Elements (HSKE) performance
• Maintain an active medical license and expertise in Occupational Health

Requirements

• Valid medical license to practice in the Philippines
• Completed Basic Course in Occupational Medicine from the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM)
• 2-3 years of proven clinical experience, preferably within an industrial environment
• Specialization in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, or a related field is highly preferred
