Job summary

STMicroelectronics in the Philippines is seeking a Die Attach Process Technician to support development and validation of new process bricks, establishing robust settings and equipment capability to enable mass production.

The role involves setting up and operating die attach machines, creating recipes for LGA, BGA, QFN and flip-chip packages, monitoring processes, ensuring quality, identifying root causes, and assisting with DOE and data gathering.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics or mechanical engineering.
• 1–3 years experience in a die attach process in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable with pick-and-place systems and inspection equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and configure recipes for die attach machines.
• Create die attach recipes for LGA, BGA, QFN and flip chip packages.
• Monitor processes and resolve major issues with the local team.
• Ensure proactive quality and identify root causes for corrective actions.
• Support DOE activities and data gathering for new process bricks.
