Job summary

Ling Nam Restaurant is seeking a Noodle Cook / Kitchen Cook to join our busy kitchen. You will prepare and cook noodle dishes and other menu items, ensuring quality and consistency for every plate served.

This role requires at least a year of kitchen experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork to keep the line moving. Chinese cuisine experience is a plus, and safety and cleanliness are top priorities in our kitchen.

Qualifications

Bring your cooking skills to Ling Nam Restaurant! We're looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals who are passionate about preparing quality food and delivering an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook noodle dishes and other menu items according to Ling Nam's quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain proper food storage.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation.
• Follow standard recipes and operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year cook- to- order or kitchen- related experience
• At least High school degree with equivalent years of experience as an Assistant Cook or Vocational Course or College graduate
• With Chinese Cuisine is a plus
• Must be able to complete duties in a fast paced kitchen while performing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
• Knowledge and demonstrated practice of safe food handling
• Knowledge and demonstrated practice of maintaining a clean and sanitary work station
• Able to safely lift and/or move, using designated safety equipment, objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Ability to remain productive in a high pressure environment
