Job summary

The NOC Engineer role focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to maximize uptime and service availability. You will perform proactive monitoring, incident response, RCA, and documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents.

We require a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering and 2–4 years of hands-on experience with enterprise networks, Windows and Linux, and common monitoring and ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/CS/engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on networking experience.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching, VPN tech, OSI model, and security concepts.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/Fortinet devices and monitoring tools.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, servers, applications, and telecom systems 24/7.
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents and outages.
• Respond to alarms and alerts from monitoring tools.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams or vendors.
• Perform root cause analysis for network and system failures.
• Create and maintain incident reports and operational documentation.
• Manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Support WAN, LAN, VPN, Internet, and cloud connectivity services.
• Implement network configuration changes per change management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
