Job summary

IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to monitor and troubleshoot network and server environments in a 24/7 setting.

You will work with Cisco technologies, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure while coordinating with clients and internal teams to keep critical systems running smoothly. Strong English communication, hands-on experience with Windows Server, Azure, and MSP-style support will help you thrive in this global MSP environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 offerings.
• Solid networking knowledge across Cisco equipment, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Hands-on virtualization, cloud platforms, and MSP-style support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network and server incidents in a 24/7 NOC.
• Troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and infrastructure elements.
• Monitor Windows/Linux servers for performance, availability, and health.
• Respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs and document steps taken.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams about progress and resolutions.
• Perform initial root cause analysis and prepare detailed documentation.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Maintain overall system stability and uptime across multiple client environments.

About the role

Join IT By Design, a global IT services company, where you'll monitor and troubleshoot network and server environments while communicating with clients and internal teams to keep critical systems running smoothly. You'll work in a 24/7 NOC environment with Cisco technologies, servers, virtualization, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escape network and server incidents in a 24/7 NOC environment
• Troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers for performance, availability, and health issues
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests within SLA
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding incidents, troubleshooting progress, and resolutions
• Perform initial root cause analysis and provide clear, detailed documentation
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues
• Help maintain system stability, availability, and uptime across multiple client environments

About you

• Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure, and virtualization technologies
• Strong networking knowledge in Cisco, Meraki, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Solid understanding of DNS and DHCP
• Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting virtualized environments
• Experience with cloud platforms, backup solutions, and endpoint security
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network and server environments
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients, users, and internal teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple incidents based on priority and SLA
• MSP experience is highly preferred, particularly experience supporting multiple client environments
