Jobtailor in Manila is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage servers and AD, back up data, and support end users with PCs and email.

Qualifications

Diploma/Advanced Degree in Safety Management, Engineering or related field.

Experience with DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, WINS, IIS, FTP and TCP/IP.
Strong customer support skills.
Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and manage servers and infrastructure services (antivirus, databases, AD, Exchange, file services, firewalls).
Develop and implement housekeeping routines; monitor system and logs.
Ensure backups are executed and verify integrity for restores.
Provide technical support for end users' PCs, laptops, printers, and email.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Handle privileged access, configuration compliance, and vulnerability collaboration.
Assist with other duties to support the Quality Management System.

Job description

Monitor, maintain, and manage servers and infrastructure services, including anti-virus systems, databases, Active Directory, Exchange Mail, file services, and firewalls.
Develop and implement housekeeping routines and monitor system and infrastructure service logs.
Ensure backup operations are executed and completed, and periodically verify backup integrity for restoration when required.
Provide technical support for end users’ PCs, laptops, network printers, and email.
Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and provide permanent resolutions.
Handle privileged access, system configuration compliance, and vulnerability management collaboration.
Perform other duties assigned by management within the employment category and support continual improvement of TDCX’s Quality Management System.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Safety Management, Engineering or a related qualification.
Preferably with 2 years of working experience in the related field is ideal for this position.
Experienced in supporting end users for their daily PC usage problem (Microsoft Windows).
Experienced with Windows Server Active Directory users and computers, Windows Server Active Directory, network infrastructure, Windows Server files and folders permission.
Experienced with DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, WINS, IIS and FTP and TCP/IP.
Possesses good customer support skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of the supporting market.
