Job summary

Jobtailor in the Philippines is seeking an experienced System and Network Administrator to design, implement, and maintain client network infrastructures and data center environments. You will manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless tech, and both on‑premises and cloud servers.

Responsibilities include supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure, implementing security controls, performing vulnerability scans, and developing disaster recovery plans while delivering Level 1–2

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
• 3–4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, providing frontline support and resolving issues via ticketing systems.
• Certification in relevant areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP).

• Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies from vendors such as Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto
• Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud server environments using Windows Server (2008-2022), VMWare, and Hyper-V
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user management, group policies, and cloud-based services
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions including Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet
• Monitor and manage security protocols, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans with clients
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues
• Diagnose and resolve issues using remote management tools
• Troubleshoot desktop, system, application, and complex network problems across client environments
• Administer VMWare environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers
• Provide Azure cloud services expertise for scalable and resilient infrastructure
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide IT solutions and support
• Use ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow to track, manage, and resolve support requests
• Document configurations, troubleshooting efforts, and solutions in ticketing systems
• Proactively monitor network and system performance
• Report on system performance, uptime, and security incidents to management and clients

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator, with a proven track record of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and data center technologies
• 3-4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, providing frontline support and resolving issues via ticketing systems
• Certification in relevant areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP)
