Job summary

HGC Global Communications Limited in Manila is seeking a qualified professional to design carrier-grade networks, manage capacity, and drive technology innovation aligned with architectural standards and business goals.

You will lead cross-functional projects, support sales with technical solutions, document procedures, and provide training, while maintaining network operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree holder.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in OSP fiber projects.
• Hands-on experience in project management and infrastructure management.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Network Design: Develop carrier-grade network solutions aligned with HGC architectural standards and business objectives, creating detailed designs, Bill Of Materials, and cost estimates.
• Capacity Management: Monitor and manage network capacity across service bandwidth and hardware; proactively identify constraints and recommend upgrades.
• Technology Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies; conduct Proof Of Concepts and lab testing; provide recommendations for technology adoption.
• Project & Cross-Functional Support: Manage complex projects; support Sales with technical solutions; engage with Product Management on new product ideas.
• Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive design documentation, Method Of Procedures, and operational handover packages; conduct internal and external training.
• Network Operations Support: Provide support for escalated network faults; use diagnostic tools for investigation and root cause analysis.
