Job summary

HGC Global Communications in Manila seeks a Network Design professional to create carrier-grade designs, BOMs, and cost estimates aligned with architectural standards.

You will monitor capacity, evaluate new technologies, support Sales with technical solutions, and collaborate with Product Management on new ideas. You will produce design documents, SOPs, and handover packages, and conduct training for teams.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in OSP fiber projects.
• Hands-on experience in project management and infrastructure management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop carrier-grade network designs aligned with standards, creating BOMs and cost estimates.
• Monitor and manage network capacity across service bandwidth and hardware; identify constraints and recommend upgrades.
• Evaluate emerging technologies; conduct PoCs and lab testing; provide recommendations for adoption.
• Manage complex projects; support Sales with technical solutions; engage with Product Management on new product ideas.
• Create comprehensive design documentation, SOPs, and handover packages; conduct internal and external training.
• Provide support for escalated network faults; use diagnostic tools for investigation and root cause analysis.

• Network Design: Develop carrier-grade network solutions aligned with HGC architectural standards and business objectives, creating detailed designs, Bill Of Materials, and cost estimates.
• Capacity Management: Monitor and manage network capacity across service bandwidth and hardware; proactively identify constraints and recommend upgrades.
• Technology Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies; conduct Proof Of Concepts and lab testing; provide recommendations for technology adoption.
• Project & Cross-Functional Support: Manage complex projects; support Sales with technical solutions; engage with Product Management on new product ideas.
• Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive design documentation, Method Of Procedures, and operational handover packages; conduct internal and external training.
• Network Operations Support: Provide support for escalated network faults; use diagnostic tools for investigation and root cause analysis.

Requirements:
