Job summary

Globe Telecom in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated professional to provide first-level maintenance and 24/7 surveillance of fixed core, transport and access networks. You will monitor network performance, respond to KPI alarms, and coordinate dispatch with resolving teams while supporting environmental and OSS/Backend systems.

A bachelor's degree in Telecommunication and Computer Engineering is required; licenses are an advantage.

Qualifications

• With College / Bachelors Degree in Telecommunication and Computer Engineering.
• Bachelor in Telecommunication & computer studies.
• Professional Licenses and certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level maintenance and 24/7 Surveillance of Fixed Core, Transport and Access Networks including relevant OSS, Backend Systems, Ancillary facilities and Environmental support systems necessary for the delivery of existing and future services using Network Management Systems and Operational Support tools within its respective coverage based on geographic area and/or type of network.
• Proactively monitor network and KPI threshold crossing alarms and endorse dispatch to appropriate resolving teams.
• Supply information for broadcast to communications management.

Education

Bachelor in Telecommunication & computer studies.

Professional Licenses and certifications are an advantage.
