Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a National Material Quantity Surveyor to analyze construction plans and prepare detailed material takeoffs for flooring and related materials. You will support sales and project teams, ensuring precise estimates and adherence to standards.

Work is on-site in Bridgetowne, Quezon City, with night shift hours and holiday considerations. The role requires a civil/structural/architectural background, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and strong reading of construction plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience also considered.
2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, architecture, or engineering.
Experience in material quantity takeoffs is desirable.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans (U.S.-based plans a plus).
Detail-oriented with high analytical thinking to spot cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

Plan and analyze specifications to prepare accurate material takeoffs for all design stages (Budgetary, DD, CD, GMP).
Create material quantity estimates for flooring and related materials; pricing is not included.
Draft RFIs for review by sales and architects/GCs to clarify plans.
Identify opportunities for material cost savings and efficiency gains.
Ensure estimates pass two-level reviews by local leads and U.S.-based estimators.
Follow National Estimating Standards and company guidelines for consistency.
