Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. in Pasay City, Metro Manila is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician (Reliever) to join our facilities management team.

This full-time role involves maintaining building systems, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring safety and compliance across properties we manage. You will perform routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or similar facilities role.
• Knowledge in at least two areas: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent diagnosis.
• Physically capable of manual tasks and lifting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
• Health and safety awareness and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
• Document preventative maintenance findings in logs.
• Troubleshoot issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Maintain equipment including air conditioning units, generators, pumps, and lifts.
• Carry out general repairs such as painting, carpentry, and minor structural work.
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers for specialised repairs.

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician (Reliever) to join our facilities management team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the optimum functionality and safety of our managed properties. As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will provide technical support across multiple disciplines, ensuring that all building systems and facilities operate efficiently. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional facilities management services to our clients and maintaining the properties under our care to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls from tenants and building occupants

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings in maintenance logs

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems

• Maintain and service building equipment including air conditioning units, generators, pumps, and lifts

• Perform general repairs including painting, carpentry, and minor structural work as required

• Assist in coordinating with contractors and external service providers for specialised repairs

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations in all maintenance activities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage facilities

• Report defects, hazards, and maintenance needs to the facilities management supervisor

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or in a similar facilities maintenance role within body corporate or facilities management environments

• Technical knowledge and practical experience in at least two of the following areas: plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, or mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, work at heights where necessary, and lift heavy items

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with building occupants and colleagues

• Certification or qualifications in electrical work, plumbing, or HVAC maintenance (preferred but not essential)

• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems is advantageous

• Health and safety awareness with knowledge of relevant building and workplace regulations
