Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital is seeking an experienced IT/MIS leader to manage the hospital’s IT operations, systems, and infrastructure. You will develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and supervise a dedicated MIS/IT team.
You will ensure the security, reliability, and performance of HIS, EMR/EHR, ERP, and related systems while coordinating with clinical and administrative units.
Manage the organization’s overall IT/MIS operations, systems, infrastructure, networks, servers, databases, and applications.
Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, procedures, and standards aligned with organizational goals.
Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and performance of information systems and IT infrastructure.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ERP, or other enterprise systems.
Manage cybersecurity measures, user access controls, data privacy, system backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Monitor network and system performance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Lead and supervise the MIS/IT team, including assignment of tasks, performance monitoring, and staff development.
Coordinate with departments to identify system requirements and recommend technology-based solutions.
Manage IT vendors, service providers, software licenses, equipment, and technology-related contracts.
Prepare and monitor the department’s IT budget, equipment requirements, and technology investments.
Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy, cybersecurity, and information security requirements.
Maintain proper documentation of systems, configurations, IT assets, incidents, and procedures.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Provide regular reports to management regarding system performance, IT projects, cybersecurity risks, and technology initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferably with a Master’s degree or relevant IT management certifications.
At least 5 years of relevant IT/MIS experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR, ERP systems, databases, networking, servers, and IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, disaster recovery, backup systems, and business continuity.
Familiarity with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and applicable information security practices.
Strong project management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical, administrative, and management teams.
