Pharmacare in the Philippines seeks an experienced HR Manager to plan, direct, and oversee all human resource functions for the clinic, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and policy compliance.
The role ensures a competent, motivated, and compliant workforce that supports high-quality patient care, with payroll coordination and government remittances handled in partnership with Finance.
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all human resource functions of the clinic. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, policy implementation, and compliance with Philippine labor laws and healthcare industry regulations. The HR Manager ensures that the clinic maintains a competent, motivated, and compliant workforce that supports the delivery of quality patient care.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare and non-healthcare personnel.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing requirements.
Maintain updated job descriptions for all positions.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain harmonious workplace relationships.
Develop and oversee the performance appraisal system.
Assist supervisors in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
Monitor employee performance and recommend improvement plans when necessary.
Administer payroll in coordination with the Finance Department.

PhilHealth
Pag-IBIG Fund
Leave administration
Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), if applicable
Ensure timely government remittances and statutory compliance.
Conduct training needs assessments.
Develop employee orientation and onboarding programs.
Coordinate internal and external training programs.
Support leadership development and continuing education initiatives.
Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.

Other applicable government regulations
Ensure compliance with clinic accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.
Coordinate workplace health and safety initiatives.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Assist in employee wellness programs.
Develop HR strategies aligned with the clinic's mission and objectives.
Participate in organizational planning and workforce development.
Recommend improvements to HR systems and processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's Degree is an advantage.
At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience in a healthcare, hospital, or clinic setting is preferred.
Philippine Labor Code and related employment laws.
