Motorpool Engineer Responsibilities
The Motorpool Engineer is responsible for maintaining and planning of efficient schedules of all company vehicles and stationary equipment.
- Supervises team members to ensure duties and responsibilities are carried out accordingly.
- Schedules and monitors daily activities of TMs.
- Conducts scheduled Performance Appraisal.
- Approves DTR, Overtime, and VL/SL application of TMs.
- Responsible for the professional well-being of TMs.
- Reports and monitors vehicle tracker & dashcam.
- Ensures company vehicles and stationary equipment are kept in top operating condition.
- Implements and ensures prompt and proper execution of Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) of all company vehicles.
- Prepares requisitions for needed vehicle and stationary parts.
- Prepares and implements approved Motorpool Department’s OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Ensures proper scheduling of trips and issuance of fuel and oil withdrawals.
- Schedules, monitors, and issues trip tickets for all company vehicles.
- Issues and monitors fuel and oil withdrawals and ensures timely payment of such transactions.
- Prepares monthly vehicle performance reports and monitors Fleet Management Systems (Geotab/Webscast).
- Handles registration/licensing of vehicles, insurance coverage and claims for vehicle damages (if any).
- Evaluates and assesses service vehicle providers and recommends accreditation approval to 1RE Admin Manager.
Other Related Tasks
- Evaluates performance of subordinates on a periodic basis to determine performance level and areas for improvement; complies with company policies and procedures, safety rules, and practices.
- Conforms to the company’s Integrated Management Systems, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Reports any Integrated Management System events/incidents or potential events or other risks to the organization.

- Ensures the confidentiality of all data, information, and other matters which are private, sensitive, or confidential in nature, or whose exposure to other employees, persons, entities, or organizations would constitute a conflict of interest and/or pose liability or damage to the Company.
- Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.
