Premier Business Family Consultants Inc. is seeking a Motor Pool Supervisor to oversee the company’s vehicle fleet and maintenance activities, coordinating with drivers, mechanics, warehouse staff, and management to ensure safe, reliable transport and uninterrupted operations in hardware, lumber, and construction supplies.
You will supervise mechanics and motor pool personnel, coordinate repairs, and manage fleet records and parts.
A. Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field is preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experience in fleet management, motor pool operations, vehicle maintenance, or transportation operations.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience managing mechanics, drivers, or motor pool personnel.
Demonstrated experience in:
Supervising mechanics, drivers, and maintenance personnel
Coordinating vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance activities
Monitoring fleet movement, dispatch schedules, and delivery support operations
Managing spare parts, maintenance records, and equipment inventory
Ensuring vehicle safety compliance and operational readiness
Supporting logistics and operational transportation requirements
B. Job Summary:
The Motorpool Supervisor manages the daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet and maintenance activities by working closely with drivers, mechanics, warehouse personnel, plant operations, and management to ensure that company vehicles, delivery units, and equipment remain safe, reliable, and operational. The role oversees preventive maintenance schedules, repair coordination, vehicle monitoring, and equipment utilization to support uninterrupted logistics, delivery, and operational requirements within the hardware, lumber, and construction supplies business.
The position also supervises mechanics and motor pool personnel by coordinating repair activities, monitoring maintenance work, and ensuring proper handling of tools, spare parts, and fleet records to maintain operational efficiency and minimize vehicle downtime. Through regular monitoring of fleet movement, safety compliance, equipment inventory, and maintenance requirements, the Motor pool Supervisor helps ensure organized motor pool operations, dependable transportation support and timely response to operational and delivery needs across the organization.
C. Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages the daily operations of the company’s motor pool and vehicle fleet by coordinating closely with drivers, mechanics, warehouse personnel, plant operations, and management to ensure reliable transportation support, proper vehicle utilization, and uninterrupted operational activities.
Oversees preventive maintenance schedules, repair activities, and vehicle servicing by supervising mechanics and coordinating with external service providers to maintain vehicle reliability, minimize downtime, and extend the operational life of company assets.
Monitors fleet movement, vehicle usage, and dispatch activities by working closely with drivers, logistics personnel, and operational teams to ensure timely delivery support, efficient routing, and proper allocation of company vehicles and equipment.
Supervises motor pool personnel and maintenance staff by assigning daily work activities, monitoring repair progress, and providing operational guidance to ensure organized workflow, accountability, and timely completion of maintenance requirements.
Maintains records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, equipment inventory, and repair history by coordinating with administrative personnel and operational teams to support monitoring, reporting, and proper asset management.
Ensures compliance with company safety standards, vehicle maintenance procedures, and operational policies by conducting regular inspections and coordinating with drivers, mechanics, and management to maintain safe, organized, and dependable motor pool operations across the organization.
