Job summary

M3 MANPOWER AGENCY INC. is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of motors, generators, and related electrical-mechanical equipment.

The role requires hands-on expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, testing of electrical parameters, and reading diagrams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Technology or related program.
• Experience in motor, generator, electrical, or mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and use testing instruments.
• Willing to work on-site and in shifting schedules; strong safety focus; NC II certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, generators, and related equipment.

Job description

Responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of motors, generators, and related electrical-mechanical equipment. Ensures that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, generators, and related equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components.
• Diagnose equipment problems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Conduct testing of voltage, current, resistance, insulation, and other operating parameters.
• Perform motor/generator installation, dismantling, assembly, alignment, and replacement of components.
• Check and maintain bearings, belts, couplings, brushes, terminals, wiring, and other parts.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain proper maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation.
• Assist in equipment testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate with engineers and other maintenance personnel regarding equipment issues and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related course.
• With relevant experience in motor, generator, electrical, or mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Able to use electrical testing instruments and hand/power tools.
• Able to read basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site and/or in shifting schedules.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and equipment reliability.
• NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Industrial Electrical, or related certification is an advantage.
