Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking a Monitoring, Observability and Event Management Architect to lead enterprise monitoring across SAAS, IAAS and PAAS. The role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, Azure Monitor, Grafana and related tooling, with a focus on reliability, automation and cost-effective solutions.

The position offers a hybrid work model based in Metro Manila, Philippines, with a night shift and ASAP start. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience integrating alerts into ServiceNow ITOM.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in IT monitoring or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Telemetry and APM.
• Experience in DevOps and scripting: Python, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, SQL.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues; good communication and teamwork.
• Hands-on IT architecture experience in monitoring and APM (3+ years).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and compliance processes.
• Awareness of AIOps concepts and vision.
• Understanding of WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI and basic security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise monitoring, observability and event management.
• Collaborate with MEMD design leads across Event Management, Azure Monitor, Grafana, and more.
• Develop and sustain observability standards aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Design monitoring services for SAAS, IAAS and PAAS platforms.
• Engage with business units to gather requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Perform day-to-day design activities and plan software/automation upgrades.
• Drive innovation through PoC initiatives and automation strategies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in alert integration into ServiceNow ITOM, implementation of SNOW ITOM AIOps and related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT /Computer science/Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT monitoring or related technical roles.
• Strong knowledge in Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Telemetry, APM, Ansible, PowerShell, Automation
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
