Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Solution Architect to join our Monitoring and Event Management Design Team. In this role, you will design and implement enterprise monitoring and observability solutions that ensure the high performance, health, resiliency, and availability of our IT assets. You will collaborate closely with design leads and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable monitoring architecture across a broad technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Lead the design and implementation of robust enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management frameworks aligned with corporate standards.

• Cross-Domain Collaboration: Partner with MEMD design leads across Event Management, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, and custom Function Apps.

• Multi-Cloud Integration: Architect scalable monitoring services across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business requirements into cost‑effective, scalable technical solutions.

• Lifecycle & Automation: Manage day‑to‑day architectural design, plan software/automation upgrades, and drive innovation via Proof‑of-Concept (PoC) initiatives.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow ITOM Expertise: Advanced hands‑on experience with alert integration into ServiceNow ITOM and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM AIOps.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT monitoring, observability, or related senior technical architecture roles.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Telemetry, APM, Ansible, PowerShell, and automated remediation.

• Architecture Background: 3+ years in an IT Architecture capacity with a firm grasp of Application Performance Management (APM) and network/security fundamentals (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI).

• Cloud & Telemetry: Hands‑on experience with Azure services, proactive telemetry monitoring, and synthetic transaction management.

• Development & Automation: Strong scripting/coding abilities in Python, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, or SQL, alongside standard DevOps tooling.

• Process & Strategy: Broad understanding of ITSM frameworks, compliance protocols, and a forward‑looking vision for enterprise AIOps integration.
