Job summary

TP Engineering Associates is seeking a practical and hands-on Mobilisation Coordinator to manage the mobilisation of personnel to Australian mining, resources, construction, engineering and project sites. You will work with the Australian project team and regional mobilisation colleagues to drive the process from instruction to site-ready mobilised personnel.

This fast-paced role requires clear communication, proactive follow-up, accuracy and ownership, with responsibilities including

Responsibilities

• Contact personnel to confirm availability, mobilisation dates, rosters and site requirements.
• Coordinate personnel mobilisation from approval through to site‑ready status.
• Follow up required tickets, licences, qualifications, medicals, drug and alcohol screening, inductions and other compliance documentation.
• Coordinate training, client onboarding and site‑access requirements.
• Arrange approved flights, accommodation, transport and travel itineraries.
• Maintain accurate mobilisation trackers and workforce databases.
• Update client mobilisation systems and portals as required.
• Monitor outstanding, incomplete and expiring compliance requirements.
• Coordinate worker remobilisation and demobilisation.
• Follow up replacement personnel when workers withdraw or become unavailable.
• Identify mobilisation risks early and elevate urgent issues to the appropriate team.
• Provide regular updates to Australian project teams on personnel who are ready, in progress or at risk.
• Work closely with Australian project leads and the existing regional mobilisation team.
• Manage multiple mobilisations simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.

Job description

Australian mining / FIFO / DIDO / shutdown experience is mandatory for this position.

Candidates without relevant Australian mining experience may not be considered.

You will work closely with the Australian project team and an existing regional mobilisation team to manage the process from mobilisation instruction through to site‑ready and mobilised.

Job Requirement

We are looking for someone practical, energetic and willing to take ownership of assigned mobilisations.

If a worker is due to mobilise on Monday and their medical, licence or induction is still outstanding, we expect you to identify it early, follow it up and drive the action until it is resolved or escalated.

You should be comfortable calling workers, chasing missing information, coordinating medical and training providers, managing travel changes, maintaining accurate records and working closely with Australian and regional teams.

This is not an email‑only administration role. You should be comfortable actively communicating with people and following tasks through to completion.
