Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Level 2 IT Technician with a strong Microsoft 365 focus to handle escalated and moderately complex issues across client environments. The role emphasizes Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, along with identity management and security concepts.

You will resolve issues, administer and troubleshoot 365 services, assist with licensing, and guide Level 1 technicians, while contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365 environments and admin tasks.
• Experience with Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
• Understanding of MFA, authentication, and security concepts.
• DNS/DHCP/TCP-IP and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience with ticketing, remote monitoring, and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated L2 issues across Windows, Microsoft 365, identity, apps, hardware, and networking.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 components (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Troubleshoot authentication, MFA, permissions, mail flow, and licensing.
• Perform approved user/group/mailbox/licensing/configuration changes.
• Investigate issues using portals, logs, and diagnostic tools.
• Identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes and SOPs.
• Provide clear client communication and escalate high-risk issues.
• Provide guidance to Level 1 technicians.
• Support Microsoft 365, endpoint, infrastructure improvement initiatives.
