Job summary

Koyn is hiring a Compliance & Merchant Onboarding Associate in the Philippines. You'll work under the MLRO, review new merchants, understand their operations and help decide whether activity aligns with our risk framework.

You'll conduct KYB, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks, write merchant risk assessments and respond to due diligence questions from banking and payment partners, owning cases from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in compliance, merchant onboarding, KYB or financial crime.
• Experience with payments, fintech or digital assets preferred.
• Interest in iGaming or forex merchants is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Review company structures, beneficial owners, licences, websites and payment flows.
• Carry out KYB, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks.
• Write merchant risk assessments and present clear recommendations.
• Handle due diligence questions from banking and payment partners.
• Review existing merchants and escalate concerns to MLRO.
