Job summary

Bank of Commerce (Philippines) seeks a motivated professional to support merchant acquiring initiatives in Metro Manila. The role focuses on expanding the merchant base, optimizing programs, and negotiating with vendors to drive revenue and minimize losses from fraud.

The incumbent will train banking staff, present requirements for merchant accreditation, and generate periodic reports on merchant performance and billing accuracy to assist senior management in decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchant acquiring or payments processing.
• Ability to present and negotiate with vendors.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new merchants and maintain good relationships with existing ones through constant communication to ensure service levels.
• Act as relationship officer for each merchant to assist with daily business requirements.
• Provide assistance to Branch Banking for inquiries on merchant accreditation and payments.
• Provide assistance to Corporate Banking Relationship Managers for inquiries on merchant accreditation and payments.
• Review requests for Merchant IDs and Terminal IDs; review POS installation, maintenance, and requests.
• Review accrual and Payment Authorization forms; review merchant billings, subsidies, and POS fees.
• Review Cardholder Transaction Maintenance forms; prepare reports on installment programs and cash advance billings.
• Prepare reports on Merchant Marketing and Acquiring Performance, BSP EPFS, QMR, and Annual Performance Evaluation of Service Provider.
