ISTA Solutions, an outsourcing/offshoring company, seeks an experienced Medical Scribes Team Lead to guide a skilled team and ensure high-quality scribe output. You will oversee daily operations, coaching, and reporting to support patient documentation excellence.

The role requires 2+ years in medical scribe work, at least 1 year in a team-lead capacity, and strong English communication. Night shift availability is expected. ISTA Solutions emphasizes work-life balance and career growth.

Qualifications

Must have 2+ years of Medical Scribes experience (live scribing).
Minimum 1 year in team lead, supervisor, or SME role on a healthcare account.
Graduate of any medical course with field-specific knowledge.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

Plan daily workflow and assignments for scribes.
Monitor productivity and 40-chart target achievement.
Oversee coverage, pending tasks, and workload management.
Audit scribe documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Provide coaching, performance reviews, and improvement plans.
Prepare weekly production and issue reports; provide leadership updates.
Train and onboard new scribes; offer ongoing support and escalation.
Convert transcribed results into report formats; ensure accuracy.

Account specific roles and responsibilities

Daily Operations

Plan daily workflow and assignments.
Monitor productivity and 40-chart target.
Manage coverage, pending tasks, and workload.

Quality Management

Audit scribe documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Track quality trends and provide weekly reports.

Coaching & Development

Conduct coaching and performance reviews.
Create improvement plans and apply feedback.

Reporting

Prepare weekly production and issue reports.
Provide leadership updates.

Training & Support

Train and onboard new scribes.
Provide ongoing support, feedback, and escalation.

Scribing

Converting transcribed diagnostic test results, procedures, and consultation notes into applicable report formats
Typing out the full forms of medical abbreviations and acronyms, as well as the formal versions of medical jargon
Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve overall customer experience

Requirements

Must be a graduate of any medical course
With at least 1 year Team Lead / Supervisory / SME experience under a healthcare account
Must have 2 years of Medical Scribes experience (Live Scribing)
With experience in ECW
Averaging 50-60 WPM
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Amenable working night shift
