Job summary

ISTA Solutions, an outsourcing company, is seeking an experienced Medical Scribe Supervisor to lead a team of scribes in Manila. You will oversee daily workflow, ensure accuracy of reports, and collaborate with clinicians and other departments to improve turnaround times.

Requirements include medical/medical allied degree, 2 years scribe/transcription experience, 6 months supervisory exposure, ECW proficiency, and 50–60 WPM typing. Night shift availability and competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a medical or allied health degree.
• Minimum 6 months in a Team Lead / Supervisory / SME role.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Scribes / Transcriptionist experience.
• Experience with ECW preferred.
• Typing speed of 50–60 words per minute on average.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills, night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily workflow and assignments to optimize productivity.
• Monitor productivity and 40-chart targets; manage coverage and workload.
• Audit scribe documentation for accuracy; track quality trends and report weekly.
• Conduct coaching and performance reviews; create improvement plans.
• Prepare weekly production and issue reports; provide leadership updates.
• Train and onboard new scribes; provide ongoing support and escalation.
• Scribing: transcribe diagnostic results and notes; ensure medical abbreviations are accurate.

Roles and responsibilities:

Daily Operations

• Plan daily workflow and assignments.

• Monitor productivity and 40-chart target.

• Manage coverage, pending tasks, and workload.

Quality Management

• Audit scribe documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Track quality trends and provide weekly reports.

Coaching & Development

• Conduct coaching and performance reviews.

• Create improvement plans and apply feedback.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly production and issue reports.

• Provide leadership updates.

Training & Support

• Train and onboard new scribes.

• Provide ongoing support, feedback, and escalation.

Scribing

• Converting transcribed diagnostic test results, procedures, and consultation notes into applicable report formats

• Typing out the full forms of medical abbreviations and acronyms, as well as the formal versions of medical jargon

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve overall customer experience

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of any medical/medical allied course

• With at least 6 months Team Lead / Supervisory / SME experience

• Must have 2 years of Medical Scribes / Transcriptionist Experience

• With experience in ECW

• Averaging 50-60 WPM

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Amenable working night shift
