Job summary

FGC+ is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Retriever to support our operations team in obtaining and managing medical documentation for insurance-related cases. You will coordinate with healthcare providers, follow up on requests, and ensure timely case processing.

Ideal candidates have BPO or healthcare support background, strong English communication, and a proven ability to handle high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in college (any course; medical-related is a plus).
• Minimum 6 months BPO or customer service experience (voice or non-voice).
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or medical records is an advantage but not required.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in using computers and multiple systems/tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to healthcare providers.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process assigned medical records requests daily.
• Contact hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities to request records.
• Ensure cases updated and completed within required timelines.
• Monitor progress and proactively follow up to avoid delays.
• Handle escalations and coordinate with clients and supervisors when necessary.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of received records.
• Submit and track payment requests related to record retrieval.
• Reopen and resolve cases with missing or incomplete information.
• Document all actions and updates in internal systems.
